Summary: Dawn has a fascination with mirrors.
Author's Notes: Because she's a pretty, shiny girl.

Dawn has a fascination with mirrors.

She sees herself reflected in the sharp and brittle glass, and wonders when the image will become too fractured for even the Key to bear, wonders what will happen then.

Will it crack and break, rain down shards of jagged energy and tired girl-memories? Will it break at all, or simply leave Dawn trapped behind a wall of glass, forever detached from the world her sister died to make her a part of?

She doesn’t think so. Thinks instead that one day this almost-Dawn body will be worn down by what’s inside, will lose its shine and just… stop.

It’ll happen when she least expects it, that much Dawn has learned in her short life, and so she watches herself in every mirror she passes, searching for the crack that will signify the end.
