It's perhaps a sign that Dawn has lived with Faith too long, but fighting and foreplay have managed to twist themselves into the same shape, and she can't quite tell the difference anymore.

She feints to the left, manages to get a kick in, and watches as Faith's lips -- slick, shiny and skilled in ways Dawn will never be -- part to reveal her teeth. Tiger sharp, dangerous, and Dawn knows it's time to run.

Her cracked ribs protest, Dawn stumbles, and when Faith hits her, it feels like a kiss.
